The Lean-Protein Special: Chicken, Quinoa, Broccoli

Eating healthy doesn't have to mean eating plainly. Get creative with out different seasoning recommendations to elevate this protein-packed meal to a whole new level

  • Chicken
  • Quinoa
  • Broccoli
  • Oil or Butter


  • 1 part salt
  • 1 part black pepper

Equipment Needed:

  • Pan
  • Stovetop

Step 1: Cook quinoa according to package instructions
Step 2: Oil and season chicken
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat
Step 4: Cook chicken for 5 minutes, reduce heat to low, flip chicken, cover the pan, and cook for 10 more minutes
Step 5: Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute broccoli for 5-10 minutes, until broccoli becomes crispy and golden-brown.
Step 8: Plate chicken, quinoa, and broccoli together and serve!
